SEIHAKUJI, literally the bluish-white porcelain, is one of the historical and special porcelain that categorized as white porcelain and it has been loved by emperors in China. It is called “Ying Qing” in Chinese, which means shadow blue, because the part where the glaze has accumulated appear to be bluish.

By applying the glaze twice on the inside of the product, a deep pool of light and shade is created to express the juicy color of the sky. The edge of product is slightly rusted by craftsmen’s handwork and each product has a one-of-a kind beautiful finish.
